Proprietor Laura Chepner moved to the area a few years ago with hubby Martin, and found the perfect location to launch her dream restaurant, offering a warm welcome to vegans and a place where non-vegans could try something new. Lolo's is named after their daughter, Lois, now 4, who was the inspiration for Laura to become Vegan herself. After many years in teaching Laura had found a new lease of life, a new passion for food, health and cooking... and so it was bye bye primary children and voila... LOLO'S!
Lolo's uses organic and local produce wherever possible, our fruit and veg supplier is just a mile away. We work to find a happy medium between offering freshly cooked dishes with colourful, local and seasonal produce with a balance of alternative grub for those Vegan Junk foodies too. All of our cakes and desserts are made on site, by Laura's Mum ~ the true definition of 'Homemade'... using organic produce, wherever possible. We try and be as sustainable as we can, using renewable electricity, recyclable and biodegradable products throughout. Lolo's guarantees that all cleaning products, hand soaps etc... used are 100% suitable for use by Vegans and they smell great!
Lolo's is kiddie-friendly. We don't have a specific children's menu, but we can adapt anything on the menu for the littl'uns pleasure and would charge accordingly!
Lolo's is breastfeeding-friendly. We also have baby-changing facilities and training seats for toddlers.
Lolo's is also dog and cat-friendly, so you can bring the whole family!
